TeraMetrix to Attend the 9th International Workshop on Terahertz Technology and Applications
Luna’s TeraMetrix product group will be exhibiting and presenting research into hybrid terahertz and ultrasound non-destructive evaluation at the 9th International Workshop on Terahertz Technology and Applications in Kaiserslautern, Germany, March 3-4, 2020. David Zimdars, Director of Terahertz Contract R&D, will deliver a presentation on Sensor Fusion of Ultrasound Excitation and Terahertz Detection to Image Concealed Impact Damage within Carbon Fiber Composites on Wednesday, March 4, at 2 p.m.
Currently in its 20th year of selling commercial time-domain terahertz instrumentation, TeraMetrix manufactures terahertz measurement instrumentation for industrial process monitoring, coating quality control, and non-destructive evaluation. The T-Ray 5000 product line has wide variety of terahertz gantry web basis weight sensors; robot and hand-held coating thickness sensors; and gantry and hand-held imaging sensors. Our new T-Ray 5300 and 5400 series introduces an innovative single fiber connection to each reflection transceiver; as well as a dual channel option for lower cost when two sensors are required.
