Luna Labs at NACE CORROSION 2019 Conference

Come join us in Nashville, TN at the Nashville Music City Center March 24-28 to learn about Luna’s ongoing work in the war against corrosion

Luna is presenting and exhibiting at the upcoming NACE CORROSION 2019 Conference. CORROSION 2019 is the world’s largest corrosion conference and exposition. Each year, this conference welcomes more than 6,000 corrosion engineers, scientists, researchers, technicians, asset owners, inspectors, and other professionals from over 60 countries across the world. This comprehensive conference is packed with technical education and knowledge exchange, along with opportunities to connect with industry experts and peers focused on the prevention and mitigation of corrosion worldwide. 

This year at CORROSION, members of Luna’s Performance Systems and Analytics Group will be presenting papers related to corrosion monitoring technologies and techniques. Fritz Friedersdorf, and Jacob Wright will each be presenting Luna’s work at the conference:

Fritz will present on Environment-Assisted Cracking and Corrosion Fatigue of Aircraft Aluminum Alloys in Corrosive Atmospheres. This presentation is scheduled for 11:00 am on Wednesday, March 27 in the Understanding and Controlling Atmospheric Corrosion in Infrastructure Track. The talk will be located in room 104D. 

Jacob is presenting on the Degradation of Aerospace Coatings Due to Combined Effects of Mechanical Loading and Environmental Exposure.  His talk is scheduled for Wednesday, March 27 at 1:50 pm and is also located in room 104D.
